My name is Debra Sloan. I have been teaching at Montview for nine years. I have taught second grade and fourth grade as well as being the Reading Coach and Title I Teacher. I am originally from Mobile, Alabama but I call this area my home. I have lived in the Huntsville area since 1978 and attended high school at Johnson High. I have three children who are now grown and living on their own. I have two pets, a cat and a yellow lab. I graduated from Athens State College in 1997 with a degree in Elementary Education. I enjoy teaching fourth grade most of all and I enjoy learning from my students as much as I enjoy teaching them.
